Katie and Peter's Mini Photodate in Providence

Posted by Trish:

I finally got the chance to meet Katie and Peter last week here at the office, we then headed out for a little photo excursion around Davol Sqaure. The evening light was amazing and we are so lucky to be right in the city with so many great little spots for photos! This is just a non impressive spot under the old highway. It's sometimes hard to tell people how great it is even if it's not a 'pretty' background. It's all about the light, doesn't matter where you are!

This is under the new 195 bridge, a weird sensation being under all of those cars going over.

I love the way she is looking at Peter in this shot.

So I actually did meet Katie once a long time ago for just a minute. When she was in college (Babson in Wellesly)she babysat for a good friend of mine who lives up in Wellesly.

When she left college and moved to San Francisco she met Peter, guess where he is from...Wellesly! Small world!

They are totally adorable...as you can see here.

There was a lot of pressure here on me to pick only photos where Katie's hair looks good. But I can't tell, I feel like it looks good in all the photos, I'm nervous. I guess if this post mysteriously disappears one day we'll know why.

They are getting married at the new Ocean House in Watch Hill in October...cannot wait to go there!!!!

This is Katie's grandmother's ring, she offered it to her right after she met Peter, she knew he was a keeper. Not that she would have, but how could she say no after he presented her with this ring?!?!

Thanks for getting together with me in the city. See you in the Fall!!!!

Providence Wedding Photography, Mellissa + Randy

Randy and Mellissa (2 L's to S's!) are getting married this July at Oceancliff and I am very excited to be a part of there day. They wanted to meet me in Providence for their photodate because it's one of their favorite places to hang out together. I picked out a few spots that I thought had a fun Providence "feel".

R + M had spent the beginning of the day running wedding errands and getting their marriage licence (woo-hoo) so they were in romance mode already!

I think Randy might have been a little nervous at first, but once he figured out that he was going to be getting a lot of smooches, he was all about it!

This might be my fav street in Providence, though it's hard to choose there are so many picturesque spots.

A little portrait of the lovely Mellissa.

And, let's not forget the handsome groom.

Pretty cute couple I'd say. They look like a mr and mrs don't they?

Sparkly peepers.

Here's a fun little shot.

I love you Providence!
R + M are going to Italy's Amalfi Coast on their honeymoon. Jealous!
I lectured them on the importance of taking lots of photos. They love photos but don't always remember to actually take them- bad! bad!

Our next location on the waterfront...still Providence!

When I asked them to lay in the grass, Mellissa promised to buy Randy a drink when we were done. Hey, I'm not above bribery... whatever it takes to get the shot. Just ask my kids!

Ooooh, artsy undisclosed urban location!

Romantical ...love it.

And the coup de la gras... sparkle city! Love me a ring shot!

R+L - it was so fun to drive you around Providence, sorry for all the honking from the drivers annoyed by my slow and/or bad driving. It's hard to scout locations without pissing a few people off, but it's like I said... anything for the photos. See you one month from today! Hurray!

Lindsay and Scott's Photodate

Posted by Trish:

These two cuties are getting married in December, so we met up while the weather is still behaving to do some fun shots around Providences East Side...

They are clearly very much in love, making it easy for me to shoot some great shots!

Can you tell that they are both really tall? I actually felt short next to them, and I'm almost always the tallest, fun!

They shared their very sweet engagement story with me, Scott was a nervous wreck!

Cute as buttons!

Whoa, so romantical!

The East Side is chock full these kinds of great spots.

I knew that Mariah would be jealous of my sun-flare action here!

I love how they look at each other, so in love!

Isn't Lindsay's top so cute, I loved the flower detail, very fun!

Look at all those long legs, I guess that's what happens when you are tall...

Awesome doorways on Benefit Street!

Oh ya, Scott was working it!

How about Lindsay's hair, I can't stop looking at it, so luxurious!

Sweet!

I barely had to help with the posing, it was all them!

What a gorgeous day, it even looks kind of like Fall...

Then we headed over to a little cove near my house for some 'water in the background' shots.

No water, but these trees are pretty killer!

Seriously, I said let's sit right here and then they snuggled up like this! Let's not even talk about Scott's man-posing...off the hook!

I did organize this photo though...nice!

Classic!

This little cove is so cute, then put cute people in it and forget it!

That's my boat in the background...SO kidding. Although I do have a trailer hitch on my Jeep, I have never actually towed anything but I would like to.

Lindsay and I had to stop talking about how handsome Scott was, we were embarrassing him. Sorry Scott, it's not our fault!

Finito!

Can't wait to see you guys again in December for your sparkly wonderland wedding!
