Mariah's Very Own Wedding Album!

Hurray! My wedding album arrived the other day. I am trying to practice what I preach ... by getting my album done before my first anniversary. Just in the nick of time I'd say considering that my anniversary in June 23rd! I cannot believe a year has gone by already. Now I'll have this beautiful book to share with my hubby on our romantical anniversary date. Awww...
I chose to do a canvas / photo cover and added our names to the spine and the date to the back of the book. The photo of us is a horizontal and wraps around the entire book.

I love these inspiration type pages with many little photos.

Here we are seeing each other for the first time!

Ceremony...

Fun candids...

Emotional moments... this album has it all!

Here I am sassing it up. It was fun to be on the other side of the camera.

Who says family photos have to be formal?

lovey dovey.

All of these beautiful pictures were taken by my fabulous photographer and business partner extraordinaire, Trishy as we call her. Thank you a million times over Trishy for capturing my day so perfectly, making everything so special, dress shopping with me, doing my hair, and just being an overall terrific friend. You're the best!
PS. If your first year anniversary or second year anniversary (GASP!) is coming up and you haven't ordered your album yet- get on it! You too can stroll down memory lane, album in hand.

Modern Snap-ilicious Albums!

Albums are arriving day and night... here are a few of the latest arrivals.

Joanna and Walter's fabulous green and blue combo, modern book/in 8x12 size/ two tone leather/ 3x3 photo on the cover.

Andrea and Zimri's album. Modern book/ 8x12 size/ 2 tone leather/3x3 photo.

LOVE the textured brown leather spine- so fabulous!

Full page photos are so dramatic.

Got to have all the details too!

Fabulous album layouts by Trish of course...

It's almost the New Year...if you haven't already ordered your album... give Trish a call or email after the holidays!

Charlene and Ryan... Say What?!

Charlene and Ryan just received their beautiful 2 volume album set in the mail. Charlene sent us this little note and we just have to share!

" People on the knot boards always debate whether they should create the album themselves or have it done professionally. After my experience with you girls, I definitely recommend professionally! You already hired such a great photographer, so why not just spend the little bit extra to get exactly what you want. To me, the album is just as important as who I choose to shoot my wedding. My albums are sooo amazing! The quality of the books, prints, and the design layouts are just downright stunning! SNAP-ilicious is the perfect word to describe them. One thing I was so shocked by was how much more crisp, colorful, and clear the pictures were in the album rather hen on the computer. I have spent hours looking at them online but seeing them professionally printed in the album- I was truly amazed. The photos look 10 times better than they look on the computer- is that even possible?!! Thank you again and we will cherish our albums forever!"

(The couple pictured are the actual Charlene and Ryan, they don't just play them on our blog!)

Featured Album No. 37

We are album-ing like mad here at Snap! I love this time of year! We are shooting less, but that doesn't mean that we aren't being creative. Trish is doing a great job of getting album layouts to all of our 2009 brides. If you haven't gotten your yet... rest assured, it's in the works!
Of course the real fun is looking at the albums once they arrive.
Here's a little peek at a 3 volume set we just received.
The fun album on top is a rehearsal dinner album and the blue and white albums are vol. 1 and vol.2 of the wedding.

Love me a panorama!

So pretty! Enjoy!

We'll be featuring many more albums all winter as they start to pour in! Poor Kevin our trusty UPS delivery man has really got his work cut out for him!

Tis' the Season... For Albums!

Now that the shooting season is winding down, we are in full tilt album mode! As you know, Trish is the Snap! album expert and she is literally chained to her desk whipping up album layouts. Currently she is working her way through the August weddings, so if you haven't received your layout yet... rest assured, it's on the way!

Here's a pretty little 6x9 parent album that just came in. I think the navy leather with white imprinting is a very sharp combination.

Has your mom expressed an interest in an album? Have her contact us directly... we can design a layout for her using her favorite photos.

This one is so gorgeous... a 10x15 Ivory leather. Classic!

Fun layout, by Trish of course.

I am sure the owner of this album can't wait to show it to everyone!

Creating albums for you guys is just about the best part of our job! We love delivering the final product to you.... it's your first family heirloom, awwww!

More presents from Kevin...

Who the heck is Kevin? Our UPS driver of course. We see him almost every day! Here is a gorgeous album that just came in, photos by the lovely and oh so talented Melissa from a wedding last Fall...
Another album, a studio sample of a wedding last summer. This is a really pretty light sage green leather...

Lastly another sample album from our new modern leathers company from our destination wedding. This one is a 14x14" book, it's totally fabulous! We did the yellow leather with a blue leather strip through the middle and three photos...

Who doesn't love getting an album in the mail??? Especially when our crazy friend Kevin is delivering! Shout out to Kevin who is avid Snap! blog reader...

Our new sample album has arrived!

We are always on the prowl for the most beautiful wedding albums... we think that your album is so special and important that it ought to be a work of art in itself! We have found an awesome company that is so different and cool- you haven't seen anything like it anywhere. Here's our first sample for the office... Love the packaging!

Trish is pretty stoked!

We chose Evan and Steve's fall wedding at Castle Hill for the sample.

This album has a leather spine and deluxe silk cover combination.

The corners of the pages are slightly rounded.

Same awesome flush pages on the inside.

Love the panorama.

Panorama, Panorama... how I love thee.

The End.

Allyson and Ian's Album

Trish and I went to Vermont last September for the fabulous wedding of Allyson and Ian. I was so excited when their album arrived this morning via our energetic UPS delivery man- Kevin. (Hey- Kevin!... Kevin is an avid blog follower.) Anyway, I don't get to post every album that comes in, but I had a little extra time this morning and it was nice to re-live the beautiful fall day we had in Vermont.

As usual, the photolounge was a big hit- so we had to include those pics in the album too.

I'll try to be better about posting photos of the albums- I know a lot of you like looking at these pics. It's fun to get inspired and start thinking about your own awesome album... stay tuned.

Tis the Season... For Albums!

One of my brides for next year mentioned she liked seeing actual albums on the blog- "hey Charlene!" - so I thought I would put up another post featuring the gorgeous album of Isabella and Dan. The albums are rolling in this time of year, so I won't get to post them all, but I'll try my best!
Isabella opted for the classic black leather- can't go wrong with that. Plus, she has a really big dog that drools alot- and you can always wipe off leather!

You'll be seeing that photo of Isabella on the left in another blog post coming up this week!
She's the star of our new ad in Southern New England Weddings...

Love the flush pages- very modern and clean.

AWW! One of my favorite pages in the album. I love when the photos take up the whole page!

Another favorite album design- a detail in the background of the page (in this case a close up of Isabella's fun green cake) with photos on top (the cake cutting).

Another beautiful family heirloom!
