It is a month since Miss World Alexandria Mills visited the children of Buffalo who have been supported by Variety, The Children's Charity. Here is a selection of new photographs taken from the Variety Charity Gala Dinner, all proceeds of which will be added to the total at the forthcoming 49th Annual Variety Kids Telethon to be held on 6th March. It was also a chance for 2011 Variety Kids Telethon Celebrity Child Gracie Joyce to meet Alexandria and Miss World Africa Emma Wareus. During their trip, Alexandria and Emma had visited the Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo, which had received support from Variety, and where Gracie had received care. To mark the occasion, Alexandria gave little Gracie the honour of wearing the Miss World crown, the symbol of fundraising for "Beauty with a Purpose", and the Miss World sash. It was a very special moment for a very special girl!

More pictures from Miss World's trip to Buffalo in support of Variety, The Children's Charity have arrived. The photos were taken from the trips made by Miss World Alexandria Mills and Miss World Africa Emma Wareus during their time there, including their radio interview, their tour of the Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo, meeting children at the Matt Urban Center, and the Variety charity gala dinner on their final evening. The events were organised in the run-up to the 49th Annual Variety Kids Telethon, which will be hosted by Variety of Buffalo and Western New York on 6th March 2011.

Alexandria Mills (born in Louisville, Kentucky on October 8, 1992) is a beauty pageant titleholder from the United States who was crowned Miss World 2010 on October 30, 2010 in Sanya, China. Mills is the first woman from her country to win Miss World since Gina Tolleson in 1990 and the 60th Miss World in the history of the pageant.

Emma Wareus (Born - 28 July 1990 in Gaborone - ) is a beauty queen from Botswana who placed first runner-up to Miss World 2010 on October 30, 2010 in Sanya, China. This is the highest placement for a woman from her country in the history of the pageant. And the highest placement of a Botswana beauty queen since Mpule Kwelagobe won Miss Universe 1999. She graduated from Rainbow High School in 2008.
