Newport RI Wedding Photography... Emily + Adam at Castle Hill, Part 3

Posted by Mariah, Photos by Mariah and Melissa:

Time for the reception fun to start, first let me sneak in to the tent and get some fun detail photos...so much to photograph, so little time (literally).

Mmmmm.

Amazing fresh springtime arrangements by Sayles, of course.

I love the soft blues and whites with just a hint of the lilac.

Standing guard over the snacks...

Emily and Adam making a grand entrance.

Now that's a fun dress for twirling.

The hora... it strikes fear into the hearts of brides everywhere, but it sure makes for fun photos.

Love it.

So does the flowergirl.

Emily and Adam need a little fresh air after all that crazy dancing.

The night just got more and more beautiful. Here's some blue light for Trish.

Emily and Adam thanking everyone for their love and support.

Everyone made heartfelt toasts, but I was especially touched by the relationship that Adam has with his little sister. Who wouldn't want a big brother like Adam?

Flashy blue suit!

Bridey-body surfing.

Everyone had the most fantastic time, I could post 100 more dancing photos, but I'll leave you with these two... the parents of the b&g, and the b&g themselves... cheers!
Emily and Adam, thank you for inviting me into your lives and allowing me to document such a true love-fest! Emily, thanks for calling me a legend- It didn't swell my head too much, although I now make Trish call me that too. Seriously, thank you for making me feel so welcome and appreciated- you're the best!

Newport RI Wedding Photography... Emily + Adam at Castle Hill, Part 2

As I mentioned earlier, Emily and Adam decided to take all of their photos before the ceremony so we were able to take advantage of the pretty spots around Castle Hill. Here's the bridal party perched on the edge of the property.

This spot was almost a disaster due to the extremley high heels worn by all the girls. Luckily no ankles were harmed in the making of this photograph.

The groomsmen want in on the photo action.

I saw these two chairs alone in this field and thought they looked kind of sweet all alone. Adam and Emily look like the king and queen of the wooden glen here...

The king and queen are goofing around...

Adam being handsome and showing off his socks.

Clearly the women are not impressed because they are leaving...

Ooooh.

Getting ready for the ceremony now...

Refreshments?

Such a boo boo face! She's not excited about this wreath although it's quite lovely.

Why all the crying? A little love from grandpa and uncle should help.

Emily and Adam signing the ketubah.

It's a deal!

No one can get enough of Adam's little nephew. He's feeling pretty dapper in this suit that Auntie Emily picked out for him.

Don't you hate it when you show up to a party and someone else is wearing your outfit?

Adam being escorted by his very happy parents!

Emily and her proud parents.

They are so lucky to gain Adam as a son in law!

Giving each other the once over as customary in the Jewish ceremony.

Pretty Emily sneaking a peek at all of her peeps.

Ta da! Mr and Mrs!

Coming up next... the party, a reception you will not want to miss!

Emily was up at 7am sitting in her bed all by her lonesome. She woke up because it was a crazy thunderstorm so she snuck over to the curtains to pull them back and look out over the ocean from her little beach cottage. As she pulled the curtains back, a lightening flashed and she ran back to bed and pulled the covers up around her. Luckily she had a stash of chocolate chip cookies to keep her company.
By the time I arrived, the thunder and lightening was gone and everyone's spirits were high because it was not raining. Sayles Livingston delivered this amazing bouquet and the wedding day was underway!

Emily is so cute and so sweet you just want to eat her up!

Right?

Posing with her gown...

Woah...

Time to get into that dress... I think maybe Emily is punctuality deficient... we were running a little behind at this point, but who cares? It's not raining!

Besides, you can't rush beauty.

Glowy!

That's Em's sister Beth getting all choked up... she was a bride herself last year!

Em and Adam opted to do their photos before the ceremony and I set up a killer spot for their first meeting.

Here's Adam getting into position and practicing his best Bond poses. Handsome!

Fav Photo of the day #1, Emily making her way over to Adam.

Sooooo Romantical!

Classic.

This filtered soft light is my friend!

Oh, be-have!

Oooh, artsy shot from my second in command, Melissa!

I know, I know... you want more! Me too... Well, stay tuned for parts 2 and 3!
