Jillian + John at Linden Place, Part 2 / Rhode Island Wedding Photographer

Posted by Trish: Photos by Trish and Melissa

I knew you would be back for more...these two are so adorable, how could you resist?!

So I totally missed this when it happened but how great is the best man jumping and clicking his heals in the background! I thought I was just getting a cute photo of them walking.

Speaking of cute, take anything and add two little boys, you got yourself some serious cute. Although getting them to do what you want is like herding cats, oh well.

We gave the kids a break and did just the big kids for this photo. Although I teared up while the maid of honors son desperately cried out for her, it was kind of tragic!

Total sweetness.

I'm sure that little boy would find this to be 'silly' too. Whatever!

You have to have at least one classic portrait.

Is this out of style yet? Because I still love it and never get tired of it, what's not to like anyway. Some things are timeless and this is definitely on the list. One walking away shot, check.

This tree was the bomb, the texture is to rich, and they look great standing in front of it. Probably have driven by this tree hundreds of times, never saw it until this day!

Oooh, more walking. They look so natural here, love it!

The wedding party, back together for one last shot...

Jillian's inspiration was 'vintage preppy'. I think this feels like that. LOVE that bouquet.

The back of the gown had these fabulous clear chrystal buttons, so romantic!

Maybe Semia can tell us what these orange 'thingys' are, they totally brought it home!

I noticed a lot of guests eating their candy BEFORE dinner. I don't think that they were necessarily intended to be the appetizer...

Chowder by Blackstone Caterers. Oooh, mini doughboys!

I love this cake by Sin Desserts (she's right up the street from us in providence) it's so sweet looking. OK, I meant sweet and in cute.

The finale of all the hard work everyone put into this day...ready for the reception!

You know, there is always a guest a every wedding who tries to get in on my shots...

Linden Place is such a cool place for a wedding, this doorway into the carriage house is so amazing!

John doesn't look too happy. Although he'd had time for a few 'gansetts at this point...suspicious at best.

Looks like Jillian is happy too! Actually I think that they are not used to being int he spotlight and might have been a little nervous!

But they were working it anyway!

Another one of my 'blue light specials'. Oh it makes me so happy to get this kind of shot!!!!

Unfortunately the reception was no fun and there was no dancing. What?! Even grammy was into it, holllllla grammy!

Guess what song this was. You guessed it. Awesome.

Well, it was a spectacular day, from start to finish, success.
Jillian and John, here's wising you a long and happy life together, you are a great couple!!! Thanks for having us be part of your day, it was our pleasure for sure!

Jillian + John at Linden Place, Part 1 / Rhode Island Wedding Photographer

Oh, Jillian and John are just lovely people, so sweet and nice. She had lots of great details too, things that I think I would have picked too. Let's start it off here with a slammin' bouquet of bright and fun colors made by Semia...

Amazing invitations and other printed gems, see the list below to find out where she got them.

I just love orange and blue together (even though those are Newton South's colors).

Really fun shoes from J Crew, I just wanted to keep touching the fringey part!

The best quote of the day cam from one of the ring bearers who watched Jillina put her bridal shoes on and then promptly said "you look silly". Nice. That's just what every bride want to hear. At least she didn't have her dress on yet!

very cool clutch bags for each of the bridesmaids found on Etsy, LOVE all things on Etsy.

She's about to dive into this big white bridal mass to complete the 'silly' look.

Not so silly now!

Ooooh, how amazing is this detail!?

I couldn't stop looking at this bag from J Crew, it's just delicious and elegant!

I thought that the flowers and flowers was fun...

While I was getting Jillian gettting ready, Melissa was downstairs wrangling the guys for a 'man photo'. Done and check.

Jillian looks so stunning, she was good at posing too.

A little twirling is always recommended, even encouraged on your wedding day, why not! Any other day you would just look silly.

Aw, beautiful! John is a lucky guy!

This photo is kind of a miracle. Have you ever met two 2 year old boys? Short attnetion spans! I love their little bow ties and sneaks.

So it turns out that Jillian is lovely because she has such lovely parents, Toni and Mike were beaming with happiness all day!

The rings awaiting their fingers...

All of the planning and running around all stops in this moment. Take a breath because you are now getting married, the moment is here! It's emotional.

Lighting the unity candle, a nice ritual after the vows are official. Sometimes I forget how important these kind of rituals are, each couple does them, it's very sweet.
OK, so come back tomorrow for part 2 with the formals and reception...

Inspiration from Karin + John

Mariah photographed Karin and John last summer at the Glen. They had a beautiful English Garden meets Seaside Cottage wedding with great details. I especially love the nest for the rings! and what's not to like about these shades orange and blue together, such a great combo!Venue: Glen Manor
Flowers: Stoneblossom
Catering: Blackstone
Cake: Confections

Inspiration from Emily + Ted

North meets South was the theme for Emily and Ted's wedding last summer, she's from the south and he's from the north, so they had influences from both. They worked with Blackstone Catering to create the perfect menu, to 'marry' the two regions and their delicious cuisine. Toni Chandler did amazing flowers as usual, those roses were so special!

Lori and Mike at Linden Place Part 2

Posted by Mariah:

Connor, our ring bearer isn't so sure about all of this wedding stuff... he looks pretty cute in his little bow tie though.

The MOH...

Lori and her dad...

This is always such a great moment.

Frank Camera officiated the ceremony. This is such a pretty spot.

I snuck around for a few "big picture" photos.

Married!

Mr. and Mrs!

Love me some sun flare!

Ditto! How can you go wrong with Ruby slippers?

A few more portraits now that they are officially official.

We snuck upstairs for a few pics...

Time to join the party...

Still time for a couple of oysters though!

...and bubbly to wash it down!

This photo is making me thirsty.

Late afternoon light for the cocktail hour- sweet!

If you are like me you've often wondered... "What would a photo of a parole officer and a ballerina look like?"

Voila! Lori's brother and his very lovely girlfriend.

Past snapper couple- Walter and Joanna who were married (and snapped) in July!

The carriage house is such a fun spot for the reception.

Making their grand entrance...

First dance... you'll notice the lack of a "dip" photo. Well, I specifically told Mike to dip Lori toward the camera, but at the last moment he decided it made more sense to dip her toward the audience, Bad! Bad, Groom! (Not to worry we'll take care of him later).

Jennifer made a cute toast to the bride and groom. She thanked Mike for his endless patience with her!

Proud dad of two really awesome daughters.

A little harmless roasting of the groom...

...inflicted by his older brother... probably nothing new!

A little blue light dinner action...

Such a fun cake and yummy too, I had a nice big piece.

Dancing with dad.

Mike and his mom look exactly alike!

Here is Mike redeeming himself with the best dip photo ever! Good Groom.

And just in case that wasn't the best dip ever, here's one more for good measure.

The end of a fabulous evening.
