Ella + Owen Portrait

Posted & Photographed by Auntie Mariah:
As if I don't already have enough incredibly gorgeous, funny & talented children in my life... introducing my niece and nephew, Owen and Ella! How adorable are they?
Owen is 10 and Ella is 8.

Checking out Ella's missing teeth. Isn't is weird how when your 8 your teeth just fall out all the time and it's no big deal?

Frolicking in the grass.

I am beaming with auntie-pride for this photo. I demonstrated exactly how I wanted them to walk holding hands and they did as I instructed perfectly and without complaining!

I said, "you have to walk and look at me and smile all at the same time," not that easy but no problem for these guys!

Here's the whole fam taking a little stroll thru a nature preserve by my house. We kind of got kicked out of the meadow for trampling on the nesting area of ground dwelling birds. Whoops- my bad. Some example I am setting for the kiddos.

I LOVE this photo of the lovely Ella, my bella.

So cute.

They are warming up now!

I come to this place with my kids all the time. It's fun and relaxing to throw sticks off the bridge and watch them float away...(the pooh sticks game for those familiar with Winnie and Piglet).

How sweet is this face? She said, "auntie, this is so much fun I could do it all day!" Me too kiddo.

And let's not forget the most handsome-nest, most cool, baseball lovin' ten year old I know...

Thanks for being such good kids, thanks for making my afternoon so much fun. I love you!

Baby Rachael at 6 Weeks

Posted by: Auntie Trish

Rachael is so cute, it was so fun taking this photo. She has a duck theme going on in her room so we thought this would be cute with the whole duck gang together...

I love that her little face is peeking out in this sea of matching print clothes, she looks like a little doll.

She was so good while we propped her up in all kind of positions. She is so tiny, the photos are deceiving.

I like how she has a 'just putting up with you' expression in this one, so cute!

Baby Carter at 7 Weeks

Posted by: Auntie Trish

Here's a little update for you on a recent 'baby-mania' blog post, Carter is coming along very nicely, he's 7 weeks now, whoa, where did that time go?!

Nice posing here by Carter, he's giving me 'serious yet thoughtful', love it!

Brothers...

I'm being crafty here and including their wedding portrait that I took in the background. So next I will take a photo of him with the wedding and this photo in the background...infinity photos!

The Munro Family

Posted by Mariah:

Meet two of our snap! babies... Trish and I photographed their mom and dad a few years ago. This is our third portrait session and I just love seeing these little guys grow.

Here's the whole fam... a small miracle considering the boys are one and two. Aren't their parents extremely good looking?! Some good genes working here...

Trish was dancing around behind me to get the boy's attention. She has no shame when it comes to wrangling kids for photos.

Here's baby Luke... walking by himself (with a little help from dad).

I think we are boring him.

Will's not bored, he's FULL of energy! We are playing peek a boo.

Handsome little guy.

Kitty is ready for his portrait too.

Luckily he's a very patient kitty.

Love this one.

And this one! Luke is a little more reserved then his older brother, and I like his "pensive" look!

Ooooh... trike!

If this was my beautiful baby I would have to order a giant canvas print of this. It's just so classic, I'd never tire of looking at it.

While we were winding down, Trish spotted this enormous toad. I do not like toads. I mean, I really do not like them. Looks like Will does though.

When I was about 7 my cousin Brian shoved a bullfrog down the back of my bathingsuit. I haven't been right since, thanks Bri.

Despite my toad phobia, I decided to take this guys portrait. Trish thought it was hilarious that the toad was so clueless about what was happening and now he'll be famous on our blog. Animals are funny that way.

Luke is out of here... it's a wrap!

One of the best things about this job is seeing our snap! families expand. Love Love Love!!!
